A1 speaking in a group: the three tasks, simply 🗣️
In Start Deutsch 1 you speak in a group of up to four candidates, for about 15 minutes, with no preparation time. The three parts (Goethe): 1. Introduce yourself: name, country, languages, job, hobbies. You may also have to spell a word and say a number. 2. Ask and answer: you get a card with a topic word and ask someone in the group a question. 3. Requests: you ask someone to do something ("Können Sie bitte das Fenster aufmachen?") and react to their request. What partners preparing abroad find useful: · Learn the alphabet in German and practise spelling your name and street. · Say numbers out loud: phone numbers, prices, dates. · For part 2, learn the W-questions: Wer, Was, Wo, Wann, Wie, Woher. · For part 3, learn "Können Sie bitte …?" and simple answers: "Ja, gern." / "Tut mir leid, …" If you don't understand, say "Wie bitte?" or "Noch einmal, bitte." That is real A1 German, not a mistake. Practise with a partner or a small group online, taking turns, exactly as in the exam. Sources: https://www.goethe.de/ins/cy/en/spr/prf/ehe.html
