CCSE dates: monthly, except August and December 📅
The CCSE is held in Spain only, once a month from January to November. There is no exam in August or December. In practice the date is usually the last Thursday of the month, but always check the official calendar. Examples from the official calendar: · 2026: registration opened on 15 September 2025; the January exam was on 29 January 2026 with registration closing on 8 January 2026. · 2027: registration opens on 23 November 2026. The first dates are 28 January 2027 and 25 February 2027. Each month has its own registration deadline, roughly three weeks before the exam. You can change your date or centre while registration for the new date is still open. What your fee includes: the exam, the certificate of results and access to the preparation materials. It gives you up to two attempts: a second one if you fail or do not show up the first time, within six months. Plan around the calendar: if you want to submit your nationality file soon, book a date early enough to leave room for a second attempt.
