Study with the official CCSE manual — and the right edition 📘
The Instituto Cervantes publishes a free official manual to prepare the CCSE, with a bank of 300 questions, plus an official app. The exam questions come from the current manual. Important for 2026: there is a new 2026 edition, used for all exams from January 2026. About a quarter of the questions changed compared with 2025. If you downloaded the manual last year, download it again. How to use it well: 1. Start with the information sections, not the questions. Understanding why an answer is right helps you remember it. 2. Work task by task. Begin with task 1 (government) and task 5 (everyday life), which carry the most questions. 3. Do the questions without looking at the answers, then check. Mark your mistakes. 4. Repeat only the marked questions every few days until you get them right twice. Be careful with lists or apps from unofficial sources: they may still use old questions. The official manual and app are free.
