DELE A2 writing: small texts, few mistakes ✍️
The A2 writing test lasts 45 minutes and has 2 tasks. The texts are short, so every mistake is visible. What helps: · Read the instructions twice and tick each point you must include (for example: say where, when and why). Missing points cost more than small grammar errors. · Use a clear structure: greeting, 2–3 short paragraphs, closing. Hola, ¿qué tal? … Un abrazo. · Prepare a small bank of useful phrases: Te escribo para…, Me gustaría…, ¿Qué te parece si…?, El fin de semana pasado fui a… · Check three things at the end: verb endings, accents on past tenses (fui, comí, hablé) and noun gender (el problema, la mano). · Respect the word count. Much longer texts are not better; they give more room for errors. Practice idea: every day, write a 5-line message about something that really happened to you. Real life gives you vocabulary you will actually use in the exam. Sources: https://examenes.cervantes.es/es/dele/examenes/a2
