DELE B2: the level for study and many jobs 🎓
B2 is often the level asked for university study and qualified jobs. The exam is long and tests your ability to argue and understand detail. The official format: · Reading: 70 minutes, 4 tasks, 36 items · Listening: 40 minutes, 5 tasks, 30 items · Writing: 80 minutes, 2 tasks · Speaking: 20 minutes, plus 20 minutes to prepare, 3 tasks Each test is worth 25 points (100 in total). The oral can take place on the day before or after the official date. What this means in practice: · Reading with 36 items in 70 minutes is tight. Train speed as much as understanding. · 80 minutes of writing is a lot of text: plan before you write. · The speaking tasks ask you to evaluate options, describe a situation from a photo and comment on data from a survey.
