DELE B2 writing: plan for 10 minutes, write for 30 ✍️
The B2 writing test lasts 80 minutes for 2 tasks. That sounds like a lot, but many candidates run out of time because they start writing without a plan. A time plan that works for many learners: · 5–10 minutes per task to plan: main idea, 2–3 arguments, one example each. · About 25–30 minutes per task to write. · The last 5 minutes for checking. Language that shows B2: · Opinion: Considero que…, Desde mi punto de vista…, No estoy de acuerdo con que + subjuntivo · Contrast: No obstante…, A pesar de que…, Mientras que… · Conclusion: En definitiva…, Por todo ello… Common mistakes to check: · Subjunctive after expressions of doubt and emotion. · Register: formal letters need usted and polite formulas. · Repetition: use synonyms instead of repeating the same word.
