Booking SIELE: choose your date, then prepare the tech 🛠️
With SIELE you pick the day, time, place and modality yourself, at an authorised centre or with a remote option. That flexibility is great, but it also means you must organise more yourself. A checklist: 1. Decide which modality you need: SIELE Global (all four skills, official certificate) or a partial modality (S1–S5, a report with only some skills). Check which one your university or employer accepts. 2. Book a slot that leaves you at least a few weeks of focused practice. 3. If you take it remotely, test your computer, microphone, camera and internet connection well before the day, and follow the technical instructions on the SIELE site. 4. Practise typing in Spanish: accents (á, é, í, ó, ú), ñ and ¿ ¡. Losing time on the keyboard hurts the writing section. 5. For speaking, practise talking to a computer. Recording yourself helps you get used to it. Results: reading and listening are scored automatically; writing and speaking are marked by specialists. The certificate arrives within three weeks.
