SIELE scores: every point counts, so answer everything 🎯
SIELE gives a score out of 250 per section and maps it to a CEFR level (A1 to C1). For example, on reading, B1 corresponds to 118–177.99 points and B2 to 178–216.99 points. What this means for your strategy: · There is no single pass mark. Find out which score or level your university or employer asks for, and set that as your target per section. · The test adapts to many levels in one exam, so some questions will feel too easy and others too hard. That is normal. · Do not leave questions blank in reading and listening; manage your time so you reach the last items. · For writing and speaking, even at a basic level, produce complete answers: a short but complete text scores better than an unfinished one. Useful habit: take one timed practice with each section before booking, and note the section where you lose most time. Train that one first. Remember the certificate is valid for five years from the exam. Sources: https://siele.org/en/examenes
