Exam day: what to bring and when to arrive

The official rules for the day itself (with sources) are in the checklist — for example: bring a valid photo ID and your invitation letter, and be there half an hour early. After the exam: Staatsexamen NT2 results come on a fixed result date (about 5 weeks); DUO integration exam results come by letter within 8 weeks. What was your exam day like?
