Civic exam day: small things that make it easier đź’»
The civic exam is taken on a tablet or computer in an approved centre, 40 questions in at most 45 minutes. People who have sat it describe a short, quiet session that feels closer to a driving-theory test than to a school exam. What learners recommend: · Bring the identity document asked for in your convocation, and arrive early. Check the exact list in your convocation email. · Do a quick tutorial on the screen if one is offered. Knowing how to move to the next question and go back saves stress. · Answer every question. There is one correct answer out of four, so an empty answer can only cost you. · Flag doubtful items and come back to them if the interface allows it. · Watch the clock at question 20: you should have roughly half the time left. · Words like 'toujours', 'jamais', 'obligatoirement' in an answer option deserve a second look. Afterwards: the attestation of success has no validity limit, so keep a digital copy and a paper copy with your other residence documents. If you don't reach 32/40, you can book again.
