Exam day checklist for any French test ✅
Whether it is a DELF, TCF, TEF or the examen civique, people who have sat these exams give very similar advice. The day before: · Reread your convocation: address, time, room, documents to bring. · Check the route. Some centres are in business schools or universities with several buildings. · Prepare your valid ID (the one named in the convocation), a pen, water and a snack. On the day: · Arrive early. Late arrival can mean you are not admitted, especially for listening tests that start together. · Phones are switched off and stored. Bring a watch without connection if allowed, or rely on the room clock. · Written parts come in a block; the oral is often at another time or even another day. During the test: · Answer every multiple-choice question. · Don't stay stuck: mark, move on, come back. · In speaking, if you lose a word, describe it: 'la chose qu'on utilise pour…'. Afterwards: note the date results are expected and keep your convocation until you receive them.
