Free resources that learners in France actually use đź“š
You don't need expensive courses to prepare. These free resources come up again and again in learner forums: For the civic exam: · formation-civique.interieur.gouv.fr: official, free fiches by training day and by exam theme, plus the official lists of knowledge questions (CSP and CR). For French in general: · The free OFII language training if you signed a CIR and your level is below A2. · Public radio and TV learning sites with simplified news and exercises by level. · Your local médiathèque (public library): FLE books, DELF/TCF practice books, sometimes free conversation groups. · Municipal and associative French classes (cours de français pour adultes), often cheap or free; ask at your mairie. For exam format: · The organisers' own sample tasks: FEI for DELF and TCF, Le français des affaires for TEF. A warning shared by many: be careful with sites selling 'real exam questions' or 'guaranteed answers'. The civic scenarios are not public, and copied answer lists often contain errors.
