Book your exam early — and plan around the wait ⏰
A recurring tip: exam slots can be booked up. One self-learner said you may need to book around two months ahead. Results also take time. Waiting times learners reported (these vary a lot): · A2 results: from about two weeks to around seven weeks. · Staatsexamen: one learner saw results online after about five weeks and received the letter a week later. · Speaking and writing are assessed by people, which is why they often take longer. How to plan around this: 1. Look up your deadline or goal date (inburgeren.nl for integration, staatsexamensnt2.nl for the Staatsexamen). 2. Work backwards: study time + booking time + result time + time for a possible retake. 3. Book when your practice results are stable, not when you "feel ready one day". 4. For the Staatsexamen, remember you register for each part separately, so you can spread them out. Always check official dates and fees yourself; they change and we don't want you to rely on old forum numbers.
