The free official practice exams — what exists and how to use them 📋
Almost every learner who passed mentions the official practice exams. They are free, and they show you the real format. What inburgeren.nl offers (checked on the site): · A2: practice exams for Lezen (4), Luisteren (3), Spreken (3), Schrijven (3, as PDF) and KNM (2). · B1/B2: practice exams and practice tasks via the Staatsexamen practice environment linked from inburgeren.nl and staatsexamensnt2.nl. · Tip from the site: use a desktop computer. The speaking practice does not work in Safari. How learners used them well: 1. First try: do one without preparation to see the format and your level. 2. Middle: study, then redo parts and check every wrong answer. 3. Last weeks: do the rest under real exam time. Watch out: · There are only a few per skill. Don't burn them all in week one. · One learner scored high on the practice reading test and still failed the real one. Practice exams show the format; they are not a guarantee. Some learners also used older printed practice exams from the library for extra material, but check that the format still matches today's exam.
